PGA Junior Golf League:
The Union County PGA Jr. Golf League utilizes the facilities at The Learning Center at Galloping Hill in Kenilworth, Ash Brook Golf Course in Scotch Plains, and Shady Rest Golf Course also located in Scotch Plains. We put together 6 teams of 12 players per team. The program is open to players of all skill levels and has grown into one of the most premiere junior golf programs in the state. Each team will be managed by one of our PGA Professionals. The program consists of home and away matches, team practices and on-course scrimmages with one of the Professionals. All matches will be played at either Galloping Hill, Ash Brook or Shady Rest Golf Courses.
The Union County PGA Jr, League is open to all students ages 8-13. Each team will be limited to 12 players. All players will participate in 2-person matches in a scramble format through nine holes, then take the best 4/5 scores vs. the other teams total.
Program costs are $295 per player, due when you register. To register for the PGA Junior League, please call our Pro Shop at (908)241-8380.
Once placed on a team, each player will receive a registration code to register nationally. There is an additional $99 per player charge payable to The National Junior Golf League. Availability will be on a first come, first serve basis.

PGA Junior Spring Prep Clinics:
This series of 4 one hour long clinics helps prepare the Junior League golfers for tryouts for the 2024 season. The prep clinic schedule is Sunday March 24 – Sunday April 14, every Sunday from 9:30AM to 10:30AM
$150 per player (6 player min, 16 player max)
PGA Junior Golf League 17u:
The Union County PGA Jr. League program boasts PGA Jr League teams for those youth ages 14 – 17. We will utilize the facilities at The Learning Center at Galloping Hill in Kenilworth, Ash Brook Golf Course and Shady Rest Golf Course both in Scotch Plains as well as other surrounding golf courses.
Our program is open to players of all skill levels and has grown into one of the premier programs in the state. The program includes home and away matches, team practices and on-course scrimmages. We will play in house matches as well as matches against other 17u teams from around the state.
Players compete in a team format playing a two-person scramble under stroke or match play scoring for 9 holes. Matches are typically played on weeknights or weekends with an approximate start time of 4pm and will also be held on weeknights in June.
Tryouts will be held April 20th and 21st at Galloping Hill Golf Course with times to be announced at a later date. Youth only has to attend one day of tryouts. Rain date for tryouts is April 27th and 28th. There is no fee to tryout.
The fee for the program will be $300 per youth. Once the child is placed on a team there will be an additional $99 payable to PGA Jr League. The fee also includes a Youth On Course Membership – for more information, https://youthoncourse.org/.
